Biggest Ski Trip at UBC
At Big White, a total of one hundred and twelve exciting trials are waiting for you to explore. The mountain is separated into two parts with one built for the hardcore skier/snowboarder while the other for the beginners.

The easiest trails of Big White are concentrated near the village center. The best trail for the beginners is the "Humming Bird" which is located right next to the village center. The slope at "Humming Bird" is not very steep so people who are afraid of speed can easily manage it. Once you are at the bottom, you may take the "Plaza Chair" to head back to the village and do it all over again!
If you think you are ready to try something a bit harder, you may take the "Bullet Express" where you will reach a location that offers several longer green and blue trails for you to explore your skills and learn new tricks. If you're an experienced skier/snowboarder and are looking for some exciting trail, we recommend you to take the "Ridge Rocket Express". Once you arrived at the top of the express, you may head down to the "Powder Chair" for some short black trails or go all the way down to the other side of the mountain and take the "Gem Lake Express" which takes you to the top of the mountain where several black trails are waiting for you.
